The OBi312 is equipped with one FXS port and one FXO port, offering flexibility for various connections. It supports both SIP and OBiTALK protocols, enabling versatile communication options. Utilize the FXS port to plug in a phone or fax machine, seamlessly integrating legacy equipment into your IP network.
The FXO port allows you to connect to an external telephone line, enabling remote calling via the PSTN. Simplify management with the use of an Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) and effortlessly control the OBi312 through an intuitive web-based GUI. This adapter supports analog fax machines through the T.38 Fax Over IP protocol. To further enhance connectivity, Polycom has incorporated a USB port, allowing for easy integration with WiFi or Bluetooth through an optional adapter.
