The Cisco 8841 Call Manager Phone is designed to enhance personal productivity with a user-friendly interface and powerful features. Featuring an ergonomic design, this IP phone ensures a comfortable and traditional telephony-like experience. The 5-inch widescreen VGA display with 800 × 480 resolution allows scrollable access to calling features and text-based XML applications.
The handset, with wideband audio capabilities, connects through an RJ-9 port and has a concealed cable routing feature. It is hearing aid-compatible and meets FCC loudness requirements for ADA. The full-duplex speakerphone provides hands-free flexibility, with masked DTMF tones for added security. The phone also supports analogue headsets and electronic hookswitch control through an AUX port.
Additionally, it includes an internal 2-port Cisco Ethernet switch for direct network connection, allowing separate VLANs for enhanced security. The phone's keys encompass line, soft, back/release, navigation, hold/resume, transfer, conference, messaging, application, directory, standard keypad, and volume-control toggle.
