Key features include an ergonomic design for an intuitive user interface, a 5-inch graphical display with 800 × 480 resolution, a standard wideband-capable audio handset with a concealed cable routing system, and compatibility with hearing aids and ADA loudness requirements. The full-duplex speakerphone allows hands-free flexibility, and the phone supports an analog headset, auxiliary port for electronic hookswitch control, and an internal 2-port Cisco Ethernet switch for direct network connection. The phone keys include line keys, soft keys, navigation keys, and volume control toggle key, all with backlit indicators for improved visibility.
Additional features include a replaceable bezel, dual-position footstand for customizable viewing angles, wall-mountable option with a separate kit, and compatibility with the Kensington Security Slot for physical security. Power options include IEEE Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatibility and support for both IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at switch blades, as well as the option for an AC-to-DC power supply with the Cisco IP Phone Power Cube 4 (sold separately).
