The Avaya 1616-I is an advanced multiline IP telephone specifically designed for users with complex communication needs, such as receptionists, assistants, and managers. This phone is ideal for individuals who handle incoming calls, perform call transfers, and monitor multiple line appearances throughout their workday. The Avaya 1616 IP telephone offers a range of convenient features, placing control and functionality at your fingertips. It is equipped with a white backlit display, 16 programmable feature buttons with dual LEDs for line status, and fixed feature buttons for menu navigation, contacts, call log, redial, speaker, mute, headset, hold, conference, transfer, drop, volume, and voicemail access.
This telephone also includes dual Ethernet interfaces for PC pass-through and network connections, and it supports the addition of the Avaya BM32 Button Module for an extra 32 programmable feature buttons. The speakerphone feature is of high quality and facilitates two-way communication. The phone is wall-mountable with an optional kit, and it comes with a headset port and message waiting indicator. The device supports up to 100 contacts entries and 100 calls in the call log.
The Avaya 1616-I operates on the H.323 protocol and supports standards-based codecs such as G.711, G.726, and G.729A/B. It provides multi-language support for various languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, Hebrew, and Arabic. This device is compatible with Avaya IP Office Release 6.0 or later and Avaya Communication Manager Release 3.0 or later.
