It is also a paging adapter that seamlessly bridges analog paging systems to VoIP. Common application environments including schools, hospitals, retail stores, factories, and airport/bus/train terminals. The 8301 also features a Scheduler for automating the playing and multicasting of WAV file tones, bells, tones, and announcements. Algo’s 8301 IP Paging Adapter comes equipped with an embedded calendaring feature that permits users to create multiple IP schedules for flexible broadcasting of different paging events on NTP. The relay input in the 8301 may be used with an emergency button to initiate a multicast alarm, to call customer service, or play a pre-recorded announcement. The 8301 is a fully compliant 3rd party SIP endpoint and is compatible with most hosted / cloud and premise-based VoIP telephone systems.
